Wedding Photography & Videography FAQs
Planning a wedding comes with plenty of questions, especially when it comes to choosing the right photographer and videographer.
We've put together answers to some of the things couples ask us most, from wedding packages and booking deposits to travel, delivery times and what to expect on the day.

Booking & Packages

Booking with us is easy! Simply send through an enquiry with your wedding date, venue and a little about your plans. We'll check our availability, send through our photography and videography packages and help you find the right coverage for your day.
Once you've chosen your package, we'll guide you through the booking agreement and deposit to secure your date.

We require a 40% booking deposit to secure your wedding date, with the remaining balance due one month before your wedding.
All payment details and due dates are outlined in your booking agreement, so you know exactly what to expect.

Absolutely! We offer photography-only, videography-only and combined photography and videography packages.
Our combined packages are perfect for couples who want their wedding captured through both beautiful photographs and cinematic films, with one coordinated team and a consistent, relaxed approach.

Every wedding is different, but our 6-hour, 8-hour and 10-hour packages are designed to suit a range of wedding timelines.
Six hours can work well for shorter celebrations, while eight or ten hours gives us more flexibility to capture preparations, the ceremony, portraits, speeches and reception celebrations.
We're happy to look over your timeline and help you choose the option that works best.

Of course! We know every wedding is unique, so we can discuss additional hours, engagement sessions, albums, second shooters and other extras to suit your plans.
If there's something specific you'd love included, just let us know and we'll see what we can arrange.

Yes! If you decide you'd like to add videography, extra coverage, an engagement session or another available service, just get in touch.
Additional services are subject to availability and any applicable extra costs.
Photography & Videography

Our photography style is natural, candid and relaxed.
We love capturing real moments as they happen — the laughter, happy tears, little details and genuine connections that make your wedding special.
We'll give you some gentle direction for portraits and family photographs, but we won't turn your entire wedding into one long photoshoot.

Absolutely! Most couples aren't used to being photographed professionally, and that's completely normal.
We'll offer a little guidance when needed, help you feel comfortable and keep things relaxed throughout the day.
No awkward posing or forced moments. We want your photographs and films to feel like you.

The number of photographs depends on your chosen package, the hours of coverage and everything happening throughout your wedding.
We focus on delivering a beautiful, comprehensive gallery of professionally edited images that tells the complete story of your day, rather than working towards a fixed number of photographs.

Our videography packages are designed to capture both the emotion and the important details of your wedding day.
Depending on your chosen package, your films can include a cinematic highlight film, longer documentary-style coverage, professionally recorded ceremony and speech audio, and drone footage where permitted.
We want you to relive not just how your wedding looked, but how it felt.

Our cinematic wedding highlight films are generally around 6–8 minutes long, bringing together the most memorable moments from your day.
We also offer longer documentary-style films that can include your ceremony, speeches and other important moments in more detail. The final duration depends on the events recorded and your selected package.
Short teaser films may also be available as an add-on.

Yes! Drone photography and videography can add a beautiful perspective to your wedding, particularly at coastal, hinterland and countryside venues.
Drone coverage is subject to weather conditions, venue restrictions, airspace rules and safe operating conditions.
We'll always prioritise safety and can confirm whether drone coverage is suitable for your venue.

We're based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland and capture weddings throughout South East Queensland and Northern NSW.
Our main service areas include the Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Byron Bay.
We also love destination weddings, so if you're planning something further away, we'd be happy to hear about it.

No, We don’t charge a travel fee

We've had the pleasure of capturing weddings at a wide range of venues, from beautiful coastal locations and hinterland estates to wineries and countryside properties.
If we haven't worked at your venue before, we'll familiarise ourselves with the location, lighting and layout so we're prepared for your wedding day.
We can also discuss any location-specific requirements with you before the wedding.

Absolutely! While we're based on the Sunshine Coast, we're open to travelling for destination weddings throughout Australia and beyond.
Tell us where you're planning to celebrate, and we'll discuss availability, coverage and any additional travel requirements.
Engagements, Delivery & Extras

Yes! We love engagement sessions because they're a relaxed opportunity to capture some beautiful photographs together before the wedding.
They're also a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and become familiar with how we work.
We offer engagement sessions as a standalone service or as an addition to your wedding package.
We also love destination weddings, so if you're planning something further away, we'd be happy to hear about it.

We provide a selection of sneak peek photographs followed by your professionally edited online gallery.
Exact delivery timeframes will be confirmed with your selected package and booking agreement, so you know when to expect your images.

Your professionally edited wedding photographs are delivered through a personalised online gallery, making it easy to view, download and share your favourite memories.
Your finished wedding films are delivered digitally, with access details provided when they're ready.

Absolutely! Wedding albums are a beautiful way to keep your favourite photographs together and enjoy them long after your wedding.
We can discuss available album options and help you choose something that suits your style and package.
Planning & Peace of Mind

Of course! We're happy to help you plan the photography and videography portions of your wedding day.
We can suggest how much time to allow for getting ready, family photographs, couple portraits and other important moments so the day flows naturally without feeling rushed.

A little rain doesn't have to spoil your wedding photographs!
We'll work with the conditions on the day, make use of sheltered locations where available and adjust our approach to capture beautiful moments whatever the weather brings.
We'll also discuss any venue restrictions or wet-weather options where needed.

If you need to postpone or reschedule, please get in touch as soon as possible. We'll check availability for your new date and discuss the options in line with your booking agreement.

We'd recommend getting in touch as soon as you've confirmed your wedding date and venue, particularly for popular Saturdays and peak wedding periods.
However, we may still have availability for dates coming up sooner, so it's always worth asking.

Absolutely. We regularly work alongside celebrants, planners, venue coordinators and other wedding suppliers.
We believe good communication and teamwork help make your day run smoothly, and we're always happy to coordinate the photography and videography timing with your other suppliers.
